Spirituality under attack
What?
Believing and behavior in the western world is mostly based - directly or
indirectly - on Christian principles. Among the goals of Christian doctrines
are peace and tolerance. From outside the US, it calls to our attention the
continuous and severe attacks inside United States towards any form of faith,
especially against the Christian churches.
The last attacks are targeting to the symbols, like the Cross, the Nativity
representation and even to the use of phrases like “Merry Christmas”.
Why?
Even the strongest law systems have been broken by some organizations in the
world. However, it seems that personal convictions and religious disciplines
make harder for some global business to grow.
Who are the attackers?
Many world organizations around the world are happy with the eventual
decrease of Christianity in the US. Drug business, radical Islamic,
reemerging neo-communists and big corporations that ignore the human beings,
are only examples.
Some of them accomplish strategic tasks. Other… only discretely observe and
help the cause.
Where?
This kind of movement has no boundaries. However it isn’t surprising that
this kind of actions take place within the society of the world largest
economy.
What to do?
Be aware that many people who carry out these attacks are not really aware
of what they are doing. They are angry (many of them completely justified).
But when you see that those slogans come from an important organization, it
makes you think that this organization might be working for an even more
important group with very clear, specific goals.
Talk to your family, your friends and your community. The spiritual
isolation is one of the weakest flanks of the modern human being. People who
believe in peace, love and work can win. We just need to be more proactive
in the defense of a decent world… for us… and for our children.
